How are we funded?

We are a non profit organisation reliant on grants, private donations and fund-raising activities to cover all costs associated with the organisation. Our main funders are NZ Lottery Grants Board, COGS, EM Pharazyn Trust, FH Muter Trust, NZCT, Nikau Foundation, Pelorus Trust, TG McCarthy, Upper Hutt City Council and Creative Communities. This vital funding enables us to keep costs down for all women who attend any events that we run at the centre and this is part of our philosophy of providing accessible options for women.

Our annual fundraising event The Upper Hutt Spring Festival is sponsored by The Rimutaka Trust and is held in September each year. For more information on this event, please see our section on the festival.
